Swainby is a quaint, traditional village surrounded by soft heather moorland within a maze of dry stone walls. It is a small sleepy village, with a well stocked shop, a traditional pub and the post office.
Just a short drive away is the market town of Stokesley, where you will find supermarkets traditional butchers and bakers, restaurants, pubs and a recreation centre. This lovely country town will provide everything you require to make your stay at Swainby Country Park perfect.
The area surrounding Swainby offers a veritable feast of activities from walking the Cleveland Way, which runs right through the village, to a wander round Whorlton Castle and just about everything in between.
